I admire Dief for a number of things, but honestly, his stand on the flag isn't one of them. I'm British on both sides, and I am proud of my heritage... but _my_ heritage is *not* the heritage of _every_ Canadian. The old flag misrepresented them before the world, and implied they were not quite the equal of people like me. That's not the Canada I grew up in, thank God, and not one I'd be pleased to live in. Our flag stands for Canada alone, no one else. Heritage is a personal matter, not a matter of state.
